You receive a warm friendly welcome at Sylvia’s Kitchen Tasmania. Classes are conducted in Sylvia’s home kitchen in Riverside just minutes from Launceston CBD, Tasmania.

Share the fun of cooking, the joy of dining, and sometimes gardening experience, with other food lovers or your own private group, in a relaxed enjoyable class.

Class numbers are kept small. Group Classes are maximum 4-6 people and Private Classes are minimum 2 persons/couple (pricing adjusted accordingly to suit minimum numbers), enabling a very personal experience with hands-on quality tuition and step-by-step recipe instruction.

Classes are designed for teenagers and adults alike and cater to all levels of cooking ability and skill.

Learn new cooking skills and how to create beautiful seasonal and multi-cultural dishes with healthy fresh food.

All ingredients are of the highest quality including fresh local and organic produce. Cook with fresh herbs and other edibles from Sylvia’s Kitchen Garden.

Share a leisurely gourmet lunch of the delicious dishes cooked in class with complimentary beverages, tea and excellent barista-style coffee.

You receive comprehensive notes and fool proof recipes that have been personally developed, tried, tested and written by Sylvia an experienced restaurant chef and qualified tutor.

Receive friendly advice on food and wine matching as Sylvia is also a sommelier. Gain valuable local food knowledge and shopping tips.

Learn where to buy certain ingredients and kitchen equipment and how best to use them.

Gain confidence, inspiration, knowledge and skills in preparation, cooking and presentation.

All classes are casual, informative, interactive, warm, friendly, and most of all fun.
