Sylvia is an experienced, creative, self-taught chef, food and wine tutor, gardener, photographer and writer with a passion for food and cooking. She has a rich European family heritage, which has been enhanced through travel and running a successful boutique hotel, restaurant and café.
Sylvia's unique artisan hands-on cooking classes ensure personalised tuition in small intimate groups. There is use of fresh Tasmanian local, seasonal and organic produce, with herbs and other edibles from Sylvia's kitchen garden.
Sylvia will share with you her passion, experience and skills in a diverse range of cultural cuisines and cooking styles and assist you in taking advantage of fresh seasonal produce.
Not only do you learn through a unique hands-on experience, but you also share in a generous lunch of the delicious dishes cooked in class with complimentary beverages and excellent locally roasted coffee. You also receive comprehensive notes with clearly printed recipes that have been personally tried, tested and written by Sylvia.
